The code is made in your browser. We don’t store what you type, and the code never passes through our servers.

Printable card

An A5 card with the code and instructions in Arabic and English.

How to use it

  1. Upload the menu to Google Drive or copy your menu page link.
  2. Paste the link and add your logo and restaurant name.
  3. Print the card and put it on tables or by the till.

How do I prepare the menu file?

  1. Save the menu as a PDF, and if it’s over 10 MB shrink it with Compress PDF so it opens quickly on phones.
  2. Upload it to Google Drive, set access to “Anyone with the link”, and copy the link.
  3. When prices change, upload a new version to the same file (“Manage versions”) so the printed code keeps working.

Calories on menus (Saudi Arabia)

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority requires restaurants and cafés to show calories on their menus, printed and digital, including a menu opened from a QR code. Check the SFDA requirements for the details.

FAQ

Will the code break if I change the menu?

Not if you update the same file on Google Drive. A newly uploaded file gets a new link.

Will customers see an ad?

No. The code opens your link directly, with no page in between.

Can I see how many times it was scanned?

No. This is a static code that never passes through our servers, which is why it never expires and we don’t know who scans it.
