Your QR code appears here

The code is made in your browser. We don’t store what you type, and the code never passes through our servers.

How to use it

  1. Upload the video to YouTube or Google Drive and copy the link.
  2. Paste it here and check the message under the box.
  3. Download the code, then print or share it.

Is the video on your phone?

A QR code can’t hold the video itself, only its link. Upload it first in one of two ways:

  1. YouTube: upload it in the YouTube app as “Unlisted”, so it doesn’t show in search and only people with the link can watch. Then “Share” → “Copy link”.
  2. Google Drive: upload it from your photos, tap “Share”, set access to “Anyone with the link”, and copy the link. Best for short videos; long ones may be slow to start.

For YouTube links we drop tracking parts and use the short youtu.be link, so the code is smaller and scans faster. A start time in the link is kept.

FAQ

Does the video play inside the code?

No. The code opens the video link, which plays in YouTube or the browser.

My YouTube video is “Private”. Will it work?

No. Private videos only open for you. Change it to “Unlisted” or “Public”.

Does the code expire?

No, as long as the video exists and its link works.
